Answer: Click on Lock. Now you can change the code by overtyping.
Question: What should I write in the Part number field?
Answer: You should write the supplier code.
Question: What should I write in the Price field?
Answer: You should write the retail price.
Question: How do I enter labour into the system?
Answer: Go to the Stock module and click Find. Enter LAB in the Code field and click OK. You get to the billing code called Labour. Enter the amount you charge for an hour. If you have no Labour billing code yet, you can create one. Click New in the Stock database. Enter LAB. Choose B for Billing code. Type Labour in the Description field. Enter 1 for assigned hour. Enter the amount you want to charge in the Price field (e.g. 58.00). When you raise an invoice and want to enter labour, use the code LAB, enter the hours spent on the job (e.g. 2). You can overtype the description. You can give detailed description in the Memo field.
Question: How can I show individual prices on Bill of Materials (also called Assemblies or Kits)?
Answer: Create a Standard Job in the Quotation/Standard Job module.
Question: How does the system sort stock?
Answer: Stock is automatically sorted by code in alphabetical order. Numbers precede letters.
Question: I enter stock codes F1 … F9, F10 and F10 comes before F9. Why?
Answer: Because the computer checks the sequence of numbers and 1 comes before 9. You can solve this by changing the codes to F01, F02 etc.
